Rosemary Steffens, 98, of Prospect Heights, passed away peacefully on January 2nd, 2019, in the company of loved ones. She was born on June 27, 1920, in Chicago, IL. Rosemary married the love of her life, Robert (deceased) in 1940 and they enjoyed 73 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to Mark (Carol), Todd (Patty), Brad (Nancy), Jill (Frank) Menning, Joel (Sue), Lynn, Joan (Scott) Davis, as well as an adoring grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Beyond her family, her greatest loves in life were dining out, going to the movies, playing cards, sewing, and entertaining. She was quick-witted, intelligent, generous of heart, and perfect in every way.
Visitation Monday, 3:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Highway, Mt. Prospect.
Visitation Tuesday, January 8th, 9:30 A.M. until time of Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. at St. Alphonsus Ligouri Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Heights, IL 60070.
Interment All Saints.
